Behind Silvercoin Artworks stands owner Simon Baranyi and the conviction that true values endure over time. Silver is not just a precious metal for us, but a medium that preserves memories, art, and personal stories.
In our own manufactory, all works are created entirely in-house. From the production of silver bars and coins to refinement, engraving, and personalization, every step is in our hands. This closeness to the material allows for the highest precision, uncompromising quality, and the freedom to treat each piece as an independent work of art.
Our products are deliberately designed larger than many classic precious metal pieces. Our silver bars measure 54 × 36 mm, our coins have an extraordinary diameter of 50 mm. These formats were chosen to give motifs, engravings, and personal photos space, so that details can work and art becomes visible.
Combined with 1 ounce of fine silver, one of the most value-stable metals in the world, objects are created that unite material and emotional value. Silvercoin Artworks moves in two worlds: limited art and collector bars as well as personalized silver pieces with engraving, text, or photo. Both categories combine precious metal, design, and meaning into lasting works.
The foundation of this philosophy emerged even before the founding of Silvercoin Artworks. In my previous profession as an estate liquidator, I dealt daily with precious metals, art objects, and personal mementos. At the same time, I was shaped by my closeness to art, to forms, motifs, and stories that are passed down through generations.
I encountered objects of quiet, deep meaning: locks of hair that men took as keepsakes into war, or small military portraits in antique pendants, created for loved ones at home. These objects were often materially unremarkable, but emotionally priceless.
This idea lives on today, in modern form. As silver bars or coins, created for our time, but with a thought for the future. Perhaps one of these pieces will be rediscovered in a hundred years and connect people with their own family history.
Silvercoin Artworks stands for silver with substance, for art with value, and for gifts that are more than a moment.
